French Megachurches (2) - This is the second part of our discovery of current French megachurches.
After Charisma Christian Church and Meeting Hope, let's visit Paris Christian Church (Paris) and Christian Open Door (Mulhouse). -
French Megachurches (1) - I'd like to believe that many english-speaking readers will rush to buy my new french-speaking book on megachurches...
But forgive me, I lack of faith :)
However, I'm happy to introduce you to this discovery of the four current French megachurches (overseas France -Caribbean isles- not included). All of these claim at least around 2000 attenders each week.
Let's start the visit, in this first Album, with two Parisian megachurches. -
Ten French Baptist Pastors (XIXth Century) - I did my Ph.D on Baptist History in France. Fascinating subject!
Did you know that they were Baptist churches in France before there were Baptist churches in Texas?? Weird but true!
Although my current research is not focused on Baptists, I'm glad to share with you a few snapshots on XIXth Century French Baptists. Here are 10 pastors among those who played a particular role in French Baptist history from the 1830s to the early XXth Century. -
God is changing in Paris (2) - This is the second part of the "God is changing in Paris" series, based upon a Powerpoint presentation I created in 2007.

God is changing in Paris (1) - This album is the first part of a Powerpoint presentation I had the opportunity to show last year (2007) to a few American colleagues. It describes a current GSRL research project, which I will lead from 2009 to 2012 (along with my dear colleague Martine Cohen). Enjoy the visit.
